What is DISC?

DISC is a model of normal behaviours.
We all display characteristics of each of the four
behaviour types in the model but will naturally display some behaviours more than others.

Dominance: Assertive, Direct, Driving
Influence: Communicative, Influential, Positive
Steadiness: Amiable, Dependable, Kind
Compliance: Accurate, Logical, Perfectionist

Following individual sessions, you can bring the team together to share the learning DISC has given everyone about themselves. We use the session to seek to understand others' behaviour and communication preferences.

-
What value do others bring because they are different to you? How can you rely on them and how can they rely on you?

-
When might you want to adapt your approach to get the best out of others?

A fun and interactive session which brings teams closer.

"There are many personality profile tools out there, each with their own value. I personally like the DISC model because it is very easy to grasp and very quickly becomes a useful tool for both individuals and teams. When I was first introduced to DISC, it was like flicking a switch, and straightaway I was able to put my learning into my everyday work life and saw the difference it made."
